RADICAL’s Android car radio is a real all-rounder: listen to digital radio on the go, play songs and videos, make convenient phone calls using Bluetooth – the media receiver is optimally prepared for mobile infotainment. The integrated WiFi module enables you to access the internet, stream music from the web, use apps like Spotify or listen to internet radio. Built as an Android system, you can also install your Android apps directly on the multimedia system – you have the choice of which smartphone functions you want to use in the car.

EasyConnection for mobile phones

If you don’t want to install an app, but only want to use it temporarily, you can mirror the screen content of your Android smartphone via EasyConnection to the R-D111 car radio and operate it via touchscreen: important for apps where you want to manage the data on your phone. Apple iPhones are also supported by EasyConnection – the only restriction: the apps are to be controlled from the iPhone.

Optimal FM and DAB+ radio reception

The integrated DAB+ tuner with station list, MOT slideshow and DLS text provides clear digital radio reception. A powerful FM RDS tuner enables the reception of conventional analog stations – for example in areas where the DAB+ network has not yet been expanded. An active DAB antenna is included in the set.

Navigation via app

With the pre-installed APK installer, you can install navigation apps of your choice directly on the R-D111 media center and control them via the touchscreen. The R-D111 has a very powerful 1.3 GHz quad-core CPU with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB flash memory, so that tnavigation apps and background processes can run smoothly.

Custom-fit for 1-DIN installation slots

The RADICAL Android car radio can be easily installed in vehicles with a 1-DIN installation slot. However, the dashboard should offer enough space for the large display. The R-D111 features a ball joint/clamp mechanism allowing to adjust the display tilt angle (+ 20° to -20°) and display height (+30 mm to -30 mm) for best match with the dashboard. The R-D111 is equipped with a multicolor RGB LED sensor-button illumination for easy and perfect matching of device soft key illumination with cockpit illumination color.
